Could I have been a policeman?

Often one says to me: You are a former bandit, could you have been a policeman?

At this point, my interlocutor scrutinizes my face looking for any manifestation of disgust from my part.

As if I was supposed to hate all cops on Earth!

Generally, I do not answer the "tacky". But today I will explain why - among other things - I would not like to be a policeman.

First of all, I am motorist and do not understand this persecution to give us fines, to stalk us mercilessly.

But also:

  • I would not like to receive at the police station the confidences of beaten, humiliated, raped women.

  • I also would not like either to discuss in vain with unscrupulous adolescents who never will become "men of honors" but will remain rooted in their psychological distress.
  • I would not like to touch or transport dead, stiff and stinky bodies.
  • I would not like to race at night stolen cars.

  • I would not like to be surrounded by a crowd full of hate, victim of unemployment, with no future.

  • I would not like to receive the distress of the unfortunates subject to racket, who are shaken down, destroyed in their dignity.

  • I would not like to know what is happening in the minds of cops when, after hard days, they return home.

  • I would not like to hear the jeers, taunting, mockeries, insinuation of stupids who criticize the cops but are too fearful and not master enough of themselve to do this job.

Do you know that a cop who uses a Taser, has automatically himself received such a discharge as a test ?

I'm not a saint but I will never be a cop, be Mother Teresa in pants does not tempt me.

That is my answer to the semi-deficient who asked me: "Could you have been a cop? "

No, I could not have been one, nor being able to ask such a stupid question.
